- Advice to young people: Observe everything, take everything in, take in information, don’t react or memorize or think about using it, when it comes time to use it, it will come to you

- every experience is a lesson - you can decide whether you learn or not
- if you learn, nothing is wasted
- no matter how small or large, learn from it
- observe your pain - observe how you are reacting - pain is temporary so no need to react to this temporary phenomenon
- any pain level that teaches you about yourself and your capability is good enough
- don’t be diminished by your experience or your reaction to an experience
- everything is a decision
- Start small for goals and then grow from there
